Vaco has partnered with a well-established online retail company that is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to manage multi-state tax compliance and support strategic tax initiatives. Job Title Indirect Tax Analyst Location Phoenix, AZ (hybrid) Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Project Duration 6+ months (potential contract-to-hire) Responsibilities Own all aspects of U.S. indirect tax compliance, including timely filing of returns across multiple states and local jurisdictions Maintain and monitor the compliance calendar to ensure deadlines are met Perform account and tax reconciliations for financial reporting Support state and local tax audits by gathering data and coordinating with the manager Contribute to other tax-related projects as needed Qualifications BS in Accounting, Tax, or related field (CPA a plus) 3-4 years of overall experience, including 2-3 years of indirect tax compliance Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax and U.S. tax concepts; SALT experience a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Consumer Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
