Maintenance Mechanic

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed production and packaging equipment to support scheduled production.
-Perform mechanical repairs, major equipment overhauls, preventative maintenance, and approved equipment modifications.
-Read and follow technical manuals, document repairs and adjustments, and work with operators to identify and resolve equipment issues.
-Follow all safety procedures and GMPs while working independently and collaboratively across shifts as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

-Minimum 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment.
-Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills with the ability to read technical manuals and follow written procedures.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and visual inspection.
-Strong communication skills, basic math skills, reliability, and the ability to work overtime or shift changes when required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Experience performing major mechanical overhauls and equipment modifications in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
-Experience working with GMPs and supporting production operations in a high-speed manufacturing facility.

Schedule & Compensation

-1st Shift: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
-2nd Shift: 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
-3rd Shift: 11:30 PM-8:00 AM
-Pay: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience
-Benefits begin the first of the month after 30 days; 401(k) eligibility after 90 days.
